The Big Problem: Lost Visitors!
Imagine a shop that suddenly had far fewer customers. That’s what happened to this company’s website after they added something new. Lots of people (more than half!) stopped visiting their website. This was bad for their business because they weren’t getting seen by as many people. They needed help fast to get their visitors back.
What We Did: A 3-Month Plan to Fix It
The company asked us to help them for three months. Our job was to get more people to visit their website again by making it show up better in online searches. We looked very closely at their website in three main ways:
Checking Under the Hood:
We looked at how the website was built to make sure it was easy for search engines (like Google) to find and understand. We checked if it was fast, worked on phones, and if there were any broken parts.
How People Find It:
We looked at the words people type into search engines to find websites like theirs. We wanted to see which words they were showing up for and find new words that could bring more visitors.
The Website’s Words and Pictures:
We read the stories and looked at the pictures on their website. We wanted to make sure everything was interesting and helpful for people and easy for search engines to understand.
How We Fixed It: Making the Website Better
After looking at everything, we did a few important things:
Made it Easier to Get Around:
We changed how the website was set up so people could find what they were looking for more easily, like making sure the pages were connected in a smart way.
Made Pages Clearer:
We helped make the titles and descriptions of the pages better so people would want to click on them when they saw them in a search.
Made the Content Better:
We helped them improve their stories and information to make them more useful and fun for visitors.
Got Good Links:
We helped them get links from other good websites to their website. Think of it like other people saying, “Hey, this website is good!” This helps search engines trust their site more.
The Awesome Results: More Visitors, Faster Than We Thought!
In just two and a half months (even quicker than our three-month plan!), we saw some great changes:
More People Came from Searches:
32% more people started finding the website through search engines. That’s a lot more new faces!
Found for More Words:
The website started showing up for 24% more search words.
Seen More Often:
The website showed up in search results 29% more times.
More Clicks from Searches:
People clicked on their website from search results 31% more often.
The Happy Ending: A Big Win!
It was a big problem when so many people stopped visiting the website. But by carefully looking at the website and making smart changes, we helped them get those visitors back and even more! The company was happy because more people were seeing what they do, all thanks to making their website better for everyone and for search engines.
The Self Storage Hub – From Concept to Launch in 4 Days
Project: A professional, lead-generating website for a new self-storage brokerage.
Client: The Self Storage Hub
Timeline: 4 Working Days
Objective: To rapidly design, develop, and launch a fully functional website for a client with a non-negotiable deadline due to international travel.
Executive Summary
The Self Storage Hub, a new UK-based self-storage brokerage, required an immediate digital presence to begin capturing leads and establishing their brand. The challenge was an extremely compressed timeline: the entire project had to be completed from initial brief to live deployment in just four working days before the client departed on a flight. Our team successfully met this challenge, delivering a professional, responsive, and feature-complete website on time, proving that speed and quality can be achieved simultaneously through a strategic and agile process.
The Challenge: A Race Against the Clock
The primary challenge was the critical time constraint. The client approached us with a clear vision but an immovable deadline. The success of the project depended on our ability to:
- Deliver Extreme Speed: Complete the entire website development lifecycle in just 4 working days.
- Maintain High Quality: Avoid cutting corners and deliver a polished, professional, and trustworthy website that could effectively convert visitors into leads.
- Ensure Zero Delays: The client’s impending flight meant there was no room for error or deadline extensions. The handover had to be final and complete before their departure.
The client needed more than just a landing page; they required a functional hub for their business, complete with a location finder, quote request forms, and a clean, intuitive user interface.
Our Solution: An Agile & Focused Approach
To meet this demand, our team employed a highly structured and agile workflow focused on core priorities.
-
Day 1: Intensive Discovery & Foundation
- Immediate Consultation: We held an intensive kick-off meeting to understand the core business goals, target audience, and must-have features.
- Defining the MVP (Minimum Viable Product): We prioritized the essential functionalities: a dynamic location finder, a clear “Get a Quote” call-to-action, a responsive mobile-first design, and professional branding.
- Technical Setup: The domain, hosting, and CMS framework were set up immediately to allow for parallel content and development tracks.
-
Day 2 & 3: Building the Website From Scratch
-
This is when we built the actual website. We didn’t use a ready-made design off a shelf.
Instead, we used a special tool called the Divi builder. Think of it like having a giant box of digital LEGO bricks. It allowed us to build a completely new and custom website from the ground up, exactly how the client imagined it.
Our team worked together to create all the parts. We designed the layout for each page, chose the company’s colours and fonts, and built the important tools like the storage finder. As we were building the pages, we also added all the words and pictures. This meant we could see the website coming to life right in front of our eyes!

Day 4: Rigorous Testing, Revisions & Deployment
- Quality Assurance: The final day was dedicated to rigorous testing across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) to ensure seamless responsiveness and functionality.
- Client Review & Handover: We conducted a final walkthrough with the client, making minor real-time revisions to ensure 100% satisfaction.
- Go-Live: Upon final approval, the website was successfully deployed and went live, ready to serve customers.
The Results: A Successful Launch Against All Odds
Our strategic process delivered outstanding results that met and exceeded the project’s objectives.
- On-Time Delivery in 4 Days: The primary goal was achieved. The full website was launched within the 4-day window, allowing for a successful handover before the client’s flight.
- A Fully-Featured Business Asset: The client received a complete website equipped with all necessary features for immediate business operations:
- An intuitive location finder to help users easily find storage units.
- Prominent “Get a Quote” forms to ensure high lead-capture potential.
- A fully responsive and mobile-friendly design for a seamless user experience on any device.
- A professional, clean aesthetic that builds trust and credibility with potential customers.
- Complete Client Satisfaction: The client was extremely pleased with the speed, efficiency, and final product, allowing them to travel with the confidence that their new business had a powerful digital front door.
Conclusion
This project demonstrates our team’s unique ability to perform under pressure without sacrificing quality. By leveraging an agile workflow, clear communication, and a sharp focus on client priorities, we proved it is possible to take a website from concept to a fully functional, lead-generating asset in just four working days. The Self Storage Hub now has a robust platform to grow its business, built on a foundation of speed and excellence.
